Just the thought of having to wear a mask can cause anxiety in some people. I know, because I used to not even be able to think about it without panicking. I used to have anxiety attacks over needles, or even just a visit to the doctor.
What I found was that there wasn't any one thing that "fixes" my anxiety, and the only way to manage it was to accept that it WILL affect me, so I have to be prepared to deal with it when it tries to take over. Below, I’ve listed the different techniques I use to manage my anxiety.
